Hob

Our hob works via induction and it has an integrated extractor which filters and recirculates the air.

Turning on the hob

To turn on the hob, touch the ⏻ (on-off) button. It may be a bit annoying about recognizing your finger, so you may have to try a few times. If water is spilled on the button or if you put something on there, the hob will complain.

Turning on the extractor

The menu defaults to regulating the speed of the extractor. To adjust this speed, press the + or - buttons, or directly choose a speed on the bar in the middle. The people who sold us the hob told us that we should generally not go above power level 6 for the extractor.

Turning on an induction area

To cook on the hob, you first select one of the four induction areas, and then you select the power. It works very fast once you put a pot or pan on the area you enabled. After you adjust the power, the menu quite quickly defaults back to the extractor setting.
